Former JLL Apac CEO Anthony Couse joins Elevate Capital as partner

Elevate Capital Group has publicized the appointment of Anthony Couse as an associate. According to a Sept 8 press release, Couse, the previous chief executive officer for Asia Pacific (Apac) at JLL, will deal with Elevate builder and managing affiliate Ashish Manchharam to “speed up the firm’s expansion, with a purpose on scaling investor collaborations, increasing purchases, and boosting possession management strategies”.
Manchharam also began his career at JLL. He spent beyond 12 years at the company, where he worked on investment offers and funding markets throughout Hong Kong, Singapore, and the larger area. In 2014, he left JLL and consequently established property investment firm 8M Real Estate. In 2023, Manchharam left 8M Real Estate, selling his share in the company to Hong Kong-based Crane Capital for an undisclosed sum.
The next year, he opened Elevate. Based in Singapore, the boutique property investment and property management business specialises in “lifestyle-centric real estate investments”.
